Statement regarding glycerin projects

The idea of this project came to me in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. This idea was perfect, I was very excited by it. It did everything that I wanted to show. So , at 4 am I woke up, wrote down my idea on my wall (I could not find any paper at that time), and went back to sleep. Most of my ideas come to me during my sleep, which is probably why it is difficult for me to say why exactly I expressed myself in this manner. Every human being has experienced some kind of emotional anguish and/or sufficiation. I felt that I had to expose mine publicly. Through out my years studying visual arts, the formal aspects of art making was what was enforced. I felt it was time for me to explore my feelings, my thoughts, and myself....read more...
